Shannon Shorr opened the action to 2,400 from under the gun and both the hijack and big blind made the call.
The flop came A♥Q♦3♣ and action checked to Shorr who continued for 3,000. The hijack called and big blind got out of the way.
On the 9♦ turn Shorr kept up the aggression with a bet of 6,100, which the hijack again called. The 7♥ completed the board and Shorr sized to 10,500. The hijack went deep in the tank, and after close to a minute, tossed in a chip for the call.
Shorr tabled Q♣Q♥ for a flopped set and scored the sizable pot when his opponent mucked his hand.
