James Catches Up on the River in Five-Way Pot
Level 23
: Blinds 15,000/30,000, 30,000 ante
Five players, including Jimmie James in early position, Kevin Song in the small blind, and big blind Greg Henry put in 60,000 before the flop as the dealer turned over K♣3♣Q♠.
Song checked and Henry pushed all in for 200,000. Only James called and the rest of the table got out of the way.
Greg Henry: K♥10♠
Jimmie James: J♦10♥
Henry was ahead with top pair heading to the 10♦ turn, but the A♦ on the river improved James to the straight to send Henry to the rail.
At the same table, Jeanclaude Perrot flashed three fingers on each hand to signal he was up to 3,300,000.
