Riess Sends Sammartino to the Rail Two Short of the Money

Ryan Riess raised to 20,000 from early position and Dario Sammartino jammed from the small blind for 104,000.

The big blind folded and Riess made the call to put Sammartino at risk.

Both players stood pat and turned their cards up.

Riess was quick to table 8♥7♦5♣3♠2♥ which caused Sammartino to stand up and toss his cards toward the muck as he gathered his things to head toward the exit two from the money.

With the elimination of Sammartino, there are now 25 players remaining and play has entered the hand-for-hand portion of the tournament with only one more elimination going home empty handed.
