Brad Ruben limped on the button and received calls from Chris Vitch in the small blind as well as Ryan Riess in the big blind.

Both Vitch and Riess took two cards while Ruben opted to draw one. Action then checked to Ruben and he led out for 11,000, getting a call from Vitch and a fold from Riess. Ruben tabled 10x6x4x3x2x, prompting Vitch to muck his holding and send the pot over to Ruben.

Brewer Gets Two Bets From Negreanu

Chris Brewer raised to 12,000 from under the gun and got called by Daniel Negreanu in the cutoff and Mike Lang in the big blind leading to a three-way draw.

Lang drew one, Brewer stayed pat and Negreanu drew one.

Lang checked over to Brewer who tossed out a bet of 11,000. Negreanu called and Lang folded before Brewer turned up 8♦7♥6♠5♥3♦, causing Negreanu to say, "That's too good!" indicating that he was second best before mucking and sending the pot to Brewer.

Tobias Schwecht raised from the cutoff to 12,000 and found a call in Dario Sammartino from the big blind.

Sammartino drew three and saw Schwecht quickly stand pat.

Sammartino checked over to Schwecht who tossed out another bet, this time for 18,000. Sammartino folded and the dealer pushed the pot to Schwecht.

Suzuki took two to Lang's one after which action checked to Lang. He bet 25,000 and, after some thought, Suzuki made the call. Lang turned over 9x7x6x5x2x, which was sufficiently strong to take down the pot.

Vengrin Doubles Through Mercier

Young Ko raised under the gun to 15,000 and Jason Mercier called from the small blind.

Matt Vengrin three-bet jammed from the big blind for 106,000.

Ko folded the action back to Mercier who thought briefly before putting in a call.

Both Mercier and Vengrin drew one card each and turned the other four over to sweat the squeeze.

Jason Mercier: 7♣6♣4♥2♣

Mercier went to the draw ahead but upon squeezing his fifth card, he turned over the 4♣, pairing his four and giving Vengrin great odds to win as long as he could avoid pairing his nine or five.

Vengrin squeezed and turned over the 6♥, good for a full double.

James Chen opened to 18,000 from middle position before calling after Alex Livingston three-bet to 60,000 out of the small blind.

Livingston stood pat and then bet 21,000 once Chen took one. Chen responded with a raise to 100,000, which Livingston snapped off. His call was no good as Chen tabled 9x6x4x3x2x to take down a large pot and pass the 1,000,000 mark.

Mercier took two, Hall stood pat and Dzivielevski opted for one.

Mercier counted out chips and put a bet out of 28,000. Both Hall and Dzivielevski wasted little time in folding and sending the pot in Mercier's direction.
