Madan Gets There for the Double Elimination

Level 28 : Blinds 60,000/120,000, 120,000 ante

Jason Ephraim raised 320,000 under the gun and Mayank Madan three-bet all-in for 1,580,000. Erik Ortiz was in the small blind and called off his 940,000, and Ephraim tank-called off his 1,400,000.

Jason Ephraim: JJ
Erik Ortiz: KK
Mayank Madan: A9

Ortiz was in great shape to triple up but the AQ10 flop gave Madan a pair of aces to take the lead. The A hit the turn, improving him to trip aces and the 7 completed the board on the river, sending both Ephraim and Ortiz to the payout desk.

After about two minutes, Gill surrendered his cards, and both hands were turned face up.

Adam Velez was at the same table and building a healthy stack.

Abrams Almost Laid it Down

Level 27 : 50,000/100,000, 100,000 ante

Arreola Gets it All

Level 27 : Blinds 50,000/100,000, 100,000 ante

There was a player that limped under the gun for 100,000. It then folded to a a player in late position who made it 350,000. The next few players folded and Darrick Arreola defended his big blind. The limper also called and they were off to a flop three ways.

The JA4 flop hit the felt and as the last card was being fanned out, Arreola had already snap-jammed all in having the two other players covered.

The preflop limper folded and the late position player went into the tank. Eventually he landed on a call and the cards hit the felt.

Late position: KK
Darrick Arreola: A8

The rest of the board ran out clean and Arreola would get a knockout and a pile of chips to add to his already growing stack.

Ten, Ten, Ten for Tenorio; Weisner Eliminated

Level 27 : Blinds 50,000/100,000, 100,000 ante
Melanie Weisner
Melanie Weisner

Just before the dinner break, Yvette Tenorio got into an all in altercation against Melanie Weisner.

Tenorio had woken up with pocket tens and Weisner had pocket queens, but when a ten came on the board, Tenorio might has well have shouted her name from the rooftops.

Just after returning from dinner:

Tenorio was facing an all in from Antonio Graham on her direct right and after some time, she went all in, isolating him as it folded back around.

Antonio Graham: J10
Yvette Tenorio: AK

The flop slid out 8Q8, giving Graham a gutshot. The 5 was of no help, and the A secured another knock out for Tenorio, skyrocketing her in the chip counts.
