The early position player and the cutoff limped, Michael Acevedo was on the button and punished the limpers by putting in a raise of 4,000 and was called by both players. The flop came out K♠6♣J♠ and the early position player checked and the cutoff shoved for 11,500. Acevedo made the call and the other player folded.
Cutoff Player: Q♦10♦
Michael Acevedo: A♦J♦
Acevedo was ahead with the pair of jacks but would need to sweat the straight draw. But in the end a pair of jacks won when the turn came the 3♣ and the river was the 8♦.
