The turn brought the 9 and Jaffe dropped in another bet of 12,000. Destefano still called and the 3 hit the river. Both players tapped the table and Jaffe turned over QQ for the best hand.

According to Brewer, he check-raised the turn on a board of Jx5x3x8 with two diamonds and Stanford called for half his stack. The river came the 3 and Stanford was all in with 84, but Brewer had rivered a flush with 96.

Chidwick Shoves the River

Stephen Chidwick bet 21,000 on a board of 469Q and Ben Yu called.

The river came the 8 and Chidwick now shoved all in for 113,000. Yu used up several time banks as he tanked for nearly two minutes before releasing his hand.

Chidwick has now opened up a sizeable chip lead in this match.

Nitsche Doubles Into the Lead

Dominik Nitsche raised to 4,000 on the button and Adrian Mateos reraised to 16,000 out of the big blind. Nitsche called and the dealer fanned the flop of A82. Mateos continued with a bet of 6,500 and Nitsche just called.

The turn brought the 6 and Mateos sized up a bet of 20,000 this time. Nitsche still called and the 8 paired the board on the river. Mateos jammed all in and Nitsche snap-called for his last 37,000 chips. Mateos tabled AQ but it was no match for the A8 of Nitsche who made a full house.

"Back to Even" for Tice vs Smith

As the full board read J8Q8K Landon Tice could be seen counting out a stack of red chips in preparation to pay off what appeared to be a river jam from Dan Smith on the button. In front of Smith laid KK for a rivered full house while Tice's card had already been mucked.

"We're back to even," Tice said as he finished counting his remaining chip stack.

Seidel Out, Szabo, Kornuth Advance

Erik Seidel could never recover after doubling up Gabor Szabo earlier in their match and just found himself all in for around 20,000.

Heinzl's Five-Bet Gives Him the Lead

Bernard Larabi raised it up on the button and Joshua Heinzl three-bet to 13,000 from the big blind. Larabi stuck in a four-bet to 28,500 and Heinzl responded with a five-bet to 63,000.

Larabi finally gave up the charade as he dumped his cards into the muck and Heinzl collected the pot along with the first significant lead in their match.

Action between Sam Soverel and Roberto Perez brewed a pot of 51,000 by the river on a board that read 476105.

Perez checked to Soverel who put out a bet of approximately half the size of the pot. Perez flicked in one chip for the call and Soverel tabled AQ, the losing hand against the A4 of Perez who correctly hero-called with bottom pair.
