Difficult Fold for Simao
Level 7
: Blinds 500/1,000, 1,000 ante
Joao Simao opened under the gun and Cristian Pernacastro called before Douglas Adkins three-bet to 5,500 in the cutoff. Simao replied with a four-bet to 23,000 and only Adkins stayed interested and called.
The flop gave 7♥4♦9♦ and Soma bet 5,600. Adkins announced all in for 70,600 and Simao went deep into the tank with a remaining stack worth 58,000.
"You really have nines?" asked Simao, not long before sending his cards into the muck.
