Stern Shows Scheinberg Queens
Level 7
: Blinds 500/1,000, 1,000 ante
Isai Scheinberg, the Poker Hall of Fame nominee and founder of PokerStars, is in the field today but just dropped a pot against Brett Stern.
Stern and Scheinberg went to the turn on a board of 3♠7♣6♥3♣ when Scheinberg bet 10,000 from the small blind. Stern called in early position as the J♦ fell on the river.
Scheinberg now checked and Stern checked behind, showing Q♦Q♠. Scheinberg mucked 10♠10♣. "I put you on jacks, actually," Stern, who has nearly 50,000 subscribers to his "Brettski" YouTube channel, told the poker visionary after the hand.
