Pham and Lewis Play the Same Hand
Level 32
: Blinds 150,000/300,000, 300,000 ante
Cong Pham open-raised for the second hand in a row, this time for 650,000 from the cutoff. The action folded to Toby Lewis, who defended his big blind.
Lewis then check-called a 700,000 bet from Pham on the 9♣2♦J♠ flop before he decided to lead for 1,100,000 on the J♥ turn. Pham made the call and also called Lewis's 1,800,000 bet on the 7♦ river.
Lewis tabled K♠9♠ and Pham tabled K♦9♦ for the same hand. The pair chopped up the pot while being complimented on their play by the other players at the table.
