Level 3 : Blinds 200/400, 400 ante

Three players saw a flop of Q72 and both Michael Coombs and the middle position player checked to David Hoag who tossed in a bet of 1,600. Only Coombs called.

The 9 complete the board and Coombs checked once more before Hoag fired a bet of 3,500. Coombs paused for a few seconds before tossing his cards into the muck.

Zizka Comes Back from the Dead

Level 3 : Blinds 200/400, 400 ante

Armin Rezaei opened to 1,000 in middle position and was called by the button. Zdenek Zizka shoved all in for his last 5,200 from the big blind and Rezaei reraised to 10,000 to force out the button.

Zdenek Zizka: 22
Armin Rezaei: AA

Zizka was ready to get out of his seat until the flop of J92 hit the felt to give him a set of deuces. The K and 3 runout changed nothing as neither player held a spade.

On the next hand, Zizka found himself all in and at risk again with KxQx against his opponent's pocket nines. The board ran out clean until the K spiked the river and Zizka doubled up once more.

Level 3 : Blinds 200/400, 400 ante

From the hijack, Christopher Lindh opened to 900, and was raised to 3,500 by Fabrice Bigot on the button.

Lindh called, and the dealer fanned a flop of K4J. Bigot continued with a bet of 2,500, and Lindh check-called. On the turn 8, Bigot increased the bet to 10,000. Once again, Lindh check-called.

On the river 8, Lindh checked, and Bigot checked back. "Wow," said the Frenchman right after, when Lindh showed the winning hand 44 for a set.

Cheng Chips Up, Matton Recovers Quickly

Level 3 : Blinds 200/400, 400 ante

Simon Cheng raised to 1,000 from under the gun and received a single call, from Joseph Matton on the button.

Cheng checked a flop of 283 and Matton took the opportunity to fire out a bet of 1,100. Cheng called.

Both players checked a 4 turn and when the river fell 5, Cheng took the initiative once more, making it 1,300 to go, which was enough to take the hand.

Matton did not let the setback affect his focus though, and was seen raking in a pot just a few hands later.

Higgins Makes Trip Tens on the River

Level 3 : Blinds 200/400, 400 ante

Simon Higgins raised 1,000 in middle position and Jeremy Wien called in the hijack as did Fabio Chaves on the button.

All three players checked the A108 flop to see the 2 turn.

Higgins checked once more before Wien put out a bet of 2,100. Chaves quickly folded and Higgins made the call.

The 10 completed the board and Chaves check-called a bet of 7,100 from Wien.

Wien tabled 44 before seeing Q10 from Higgins.

"What a river." Sighed Wien, implying his bet gets through on different river cards.

A player limped from early position and action folded to Scott Seiver in the cutoff, who raised to 2,000. It was folded back to the open limper, who called.

Seiver bet 1,300 after being checked to on the AK4 flop and his opponent called.

Keith Lehr
Keith Lehr

There was an under the gun open to 1,000 and action folded all the way to two time bracelet winner Keith Lehr in the big blind who called.

The 725 flop landed and Lehr check-called a 1,500 bet from the under the gun player.

The turn brought a J and again Lehr checked it over again. His opponent went into the tank for a moment and put out a bet of 5,000. Lehr called again.

The A river hit the felt and action went check-check. Lehr tabled AK and his opponent flashed a pair of queens before sending them to the muck.

"Big One" for Lofaso

Level 3 : Blinds 200/400, 400 ante

A completed board of AQ797 was spread across the felt as Yoan Seban and Robert Lofaso were heads-up in a pot of around 8,000.

Seban checked from the small blind and Lofaso flicked in a bet of 5,000 from the hijack. Seban check-raised to 18,000 and Lofaso countered with a three-bet to 45,000. Seban looked shocked but threw in a chip to call anyway. Lofaso turned over QQ for a full house and Seban mucked his cards.

In a hand relayed to PokerNews by Michael DeMarco, DeMarco raised from early position and Martin Kabrhel called on the button.

The two players made it to the river on a board reading 52103K and DeMarco bet out 14,000.

Kabrhel responded by moving all-in and DeMarco snap-called.

Martin Kabrhel: AxJx
Michael DeMarco: AK

Kabrhel turned his ace-high into a bluff but ran into the top pair kings of DeMarco, resulting in an early departure from this year's main event for Kabrhel.
