Two Pair Takes it For Marquez

Level 5 : Blinds 300/600, 600 ante

The player under the gun raised to 1,200 and was called by Anthony Marquez in the hijack and the player in the big blind.

It was checked to the original raiser on the A8K flop and he bet 1,600. Only Marquez called.

Both players then checked down on the 9 turn and K river and Marquez showed A7 for aces and kings. His opponent couldn't beat it and mucked — conceding the pot to Marquez.

The big blind snap folded with a full house on the board and Kono raked in a much-needed pot in the dying hours of Day 1b.
