Chufarin and Alt Battle It Out

Level 2 : Blinds 200/300, 300 ante
Dinesh Alt
Dinesh Alt

A flop of 3A4 was spread and four players were still in contention to win the pot of 2,000 chips. After two checks, Denys Chufarin was the one to bet 500 from middle position. Dinesh Alt made the call from the cutoff, as did the big blind.

The turn then fell the 3 and the big blind checked. Chufarin bet another 2,000 and this time only Alt made the call.

Chufarin slowed down on the 10 river with a check. Alt responded with a bet of 4,200 and sent Chufarin into the tank. Eventually, he folded, laughing, stating how hard it is to have a bluff in Alt's position.

At the showdown, Heimarck showed AA. She thought she had the win for a second, before Batiste revealed A8 for the nut flush.

Level 2 : Blinds 200/300, 300 ante
Steven Buckner
Steven Buckner

Steven Buckner raised it up in middle position and picked up three callers along the way including Hye Park on his left. The flop came 542 and Buckner continued with a bet of 1,600. Park called and the other players folded.

"Leave me alone, this hand might take a while," Buckner spouted at someone who was trying to talk to him nearby.

The turn was the J and Buckner sized up a bet of 7,000. Park thought for a moment but decided to lay his hand down. Buckner turned over 63 for a straight and then went on a rant.

"You see that, cuz? Raising with six-three and flopping the joint. If you got a flush draw, let's play for it all! I'm not greedy, but no free cards around here. I flopped the sugar joint, cuz!"

Level 2 : Blinds 200/300, 300 ante

There was a late position open to 700. It then folded to Bruce Little in the small blind who put in the cold three-bet to 1,900. The big blind then cold called the three-bet and the late position player called.

The 6KJ flop landed and Little led out for 3,700. The big blind called again and the late position player folded.

The turn brought a 10 and Little led again for 6,000. This time the big blind couldn't hold on any longer and laid it down.

Little smiled and showed AK for top-top, a gutter, and the nut flush draw. He dragged the pot and got above starting stack for the first time today.
