Bertoli Wins with the Kicker

Level 4 : Blinds 300/500, 500 ante

Venezuelan player Jesus Bertoli raised in late position to 1,100 and the big blind defended. The flop came down JA6 and Bertoli placed a continuation bet of 700 and received the call.

The turn Q and the river 5 were both checked through. The big blind flipped over J10 but had a kicker problem when Bertoli showed KJ.

Cold Deck Dents Hachem

Level 4 : Blinds 300/500, 500 ante

Daniel Hachem raised it up to 1,400 in early position and Matthew Adams just called from the small blind. The flop came AQ4 and Adams check-called a bet of 1,200 from Hachem.

The turn was the 5 and Adams checked again. Hachem splashed in a bet of 5,500 and Adams stuck around for the 10 on the river. Adams checked for the third time and Hachem sized up a bet of 23,000. Adams thought for a moment and then dropped in a chip to call. Hachem tabled A4 for two pair but Adams held AQ for a better two pair to claim the pot.

Balzano Grabs Some Chips Back

Level 4 : Blinds 300/500, 500 ante

In a blind versus blind pot, the board showed 4K952 when Pamela Balzano bet 5,000. Her opponent tanked for some time and eventually called.

Balzano flipped over K2 for two pair and won the pot as her opponent mucked.

Spahiu Shoves On Punsri

Level 4 : Blinds 300/500, 500 ante

Action was picked up on the turn in a three way hand with Punnat Punsri in the hijack and Renato Spahiu in the hijack.

The board read JA3Q and Punsri bet 3,000 when checked to which saw only Spahiu call.

On the 10 river, Punsri checked to Spahiu who moved all in for 16,200 and Punsri went into the tank. After roughly ninety seconds he tossed his hand into the muck and the midwestern legend took down the pot.

Two Pair for Douglas

Level 4 : Blinds 300/500, 500 ante

The board 5103Q was already dealt in a heads-up pot when Champie Douglas check-called from the small blind a bet worth 2,500 from the big blind.

The river showed the J and both checked. The big blind tabled KJ for a pair of jacks but the pot was sent to Douglas who revealed 105 for two pair.

Cristello Springs a Trap

Level 4 : Blinds 300/500, 500 ante

Felix Cristello called from middle position when an early position player raised to 1,200 and again when small blind Justin Koehler three-bet to 3,400 and the early position player folded.

Both Koehler and Cristello checked the 6A9 flop, then Koehler led for 4,800 on the 5 turn.

But when Koehler checked the 2 river, Cristello leapt from out of the weeds with a bet of 5,000 and Koehler was forced to fold.

Istomin Gets Paid with a Straight

Level 4 : Blinds 300/500, 500 ante

There was about 6,000 in the middle on the J769 turn, and Aleksei bet 1,700, which was called by his opponent.

The 10 completed the board on the river, and Istomin fired again, this time for 2,500. His opponent paused for about five seconds and made the call.

Istomin tabled J8 for a straight and his opponent mucked his hand.

Nice Pot For Wright

Level 4 : Blinds 300/500, 500 ante

Jeremy Jagoda opened from middle position to 1,100, and was called by Corey Wright in the cutoff and by the blinds.

On the flop 7J2, Jagoda's continuation bet of 2,500 was called by all his opponents. Then on the turn 4, everybody checked to Wright, who took this opportunity to bet 8,000. This time, the blinds folded, but not Jagoda.

On the river 5, Jagoda checked once again, and after Wright bet 12,000, he folded.

Oganyan Cracks Jacks

Level 4 : Blinds 300/500, 500 ante

Three players saw the KQ8 flop, and Aram Oganyan was faced with a bet of 5,200 before making the call. Paul Brar was last to act and tossed his cards into the muck.

The 8 paired the board on the turn and both players checked.

The 4 landed on the river, and both players checked once again. Oganyan's opponent tabled JJ, but it was no good as Oganyan showed Q9 for a pair of queens.
