Tournament Report: $400 WSOP Daily Deepstack (May 30)

Allan Ansdell Jr, a 58-year-old businessman from Huntington Beach, California, emerged victorious in the $400 WSOP Daily Deepstack event. Ansdell Jr, who owns Adventure City, a small theme park in Orange County.

The tournament attracted 155 entries, creating a prize pool of $51,150. The competition was fierce, but Ansdell Jr showcased his poker skills for all to see and claimed the top spot. His victory earned him a substantial payout of $12,420 and 690 points.

Adam Nedbal finished as the runner-up, taking home $8,085 and 345 points, while Justin Hall rounded out the top three with a payout of $5,441 and 310 points.

Kick off your day with some poker excitement! The opening Daily Deepstack of the day starts at 1 p.m. and promises a thrilling single-day event. With a $250 buy-in, you'll get a solid 25,000 starting stack to work with.

For the latecomers, late registration is open until the start of Level 9, and you can jump back in with unlimited reentries. Each level runs for 30 minutes, with 15-minute breaks sprinkled throughout the day, and a longer 30-minute break after Level 12 to recharge.

Blinds start at 100/100, with the big blind ante in play right from the start. Get ready to shuffle up and deal!

Running from May 28 to June 24, this weekly leaderboard promotion rewards players participating in the daily $200, $250, or $400 deepstack tournaments at the WSOP. Every week, the top 10 point earners will win complimentary seats to the $600 PokerNews Deepstack Championship.

Deepstack winners will get a unique card protector, marking them as champions. Plus, trophies will be awarded to each of the weekly leaderboard winners.

The $200 WSOP Daily Deepstack attracted 163 entries and built an impressive prize pool of $25,265.

Gerald Bickmore, a 62-year-old firefighter from Sandy, Utah, who emerged victorious, demonstrating remarkable resilience and expertise.

Bickmore's journey to the top was nothing short of spectacular, as he navigated through a field of talented opponents to claim the top prize and 631 points.

Tyrone Smith performed commendably, securing second place and taking home $3,907 and 316 points. Close on his heels was Kazunari Matsushita, who finished third, earning $2,607 and 284 points. Each player brought their A-game, making for an intense and captivating event.

The WSOP Daily Deepstack series continues to provide a platform for both experienced players and newcomers to showcase their skills and compete for substantial rewards.
