Get ready for some extra excitement leading up to the PokerNews DeepStack Championship with the PokerNews Daily Deepstack Challenge! Running from May 28 to June 24, this weekly leaderboard promotion rewards players participating in the daily $200, $250, or $400 deepstack tournaments at the WSOP. Rack up points with each game, because points mean prizes!
Every week, the top 10 point earners will win complimentary seats to the $600 PokerNews Deepstack Championship.

Wrap up your day with some thrilling poker action! The final Daily Deepstack of the day kicks off at 8 p.m. as a single-day showdown. With a $200 buy-in, you'll start with a 20,000 stack of chips.
For those who like to make a dramatic entrance, late registration is open until the start of Level 6 (approx 10:20 p.m.), and you can reenter as many times as you want until then. Each level lasts 20 minutes, with plenty of 15-minute breaks throughout the evening.
Blinds start at 100/100, and the big blind ante is in play right from the start. If this event runs long, the tournament director reserves the right to suspend play and resume the following day.
Thursday's $250 WSOP Daily Deepstack was massive. When registration closed, 422 players had signed up, creating a prize pool of $84,400, a huge amount for a one-day tournament.
When all was said and done deep into the night, Jugal Daterao was the only player left with chips. The 45-year-old project manager from Rutherford, New Jersey will take $15,519 with him back to the East Coast.
Daterao dominated the competition, but he wasn't the only player who earned a nice score. Timothy Koehler finished runner-up and received $10,715 for his impressive performance, while Jesus Garibay collected $7,535 for third place. Here's a look at everyone who cashed in the May 30 1 p.m. WSOP Daily Deepstack:
William Plitz, a 45-year-old teacher from Chandler, Arizona, claimed victory in the $200 WSOP Daily Deepstack event on May 31. This marked his second deepstack cash of the series and his largest payout to date, pushing his live earnings over the $20,000 mark.
With 178 entries, the tournament amassed a prize pool of $27,590. William Plitz emerged as the champion, earning the top prize of $6,475 and 638 points. This victory represents his biggest payout to date.
Joseph Parisi finished in second place, securing a payout of $4,200 and 319 points, while Maksim Chirva claimed third place with $2,815 and 287 points.

The buy-in for the PokerNews Deepstack Championship event at the 2024 WSOP is $600 - among one of the lowest buy-ins in the Series.
