A player raised to 700 in early position and Daniel Negreanu called in middle position. The small blind then three-bet to 1,700 and Ronald Minnis called in the big blind, as did the early-position player and Negreanu.
The flop came 8♦7♠7♦ and the small blind bet 2,000. Minnis, the early-position player, and Negreanu all called.
Action checked to Minnis on the Q♣ turn and he bet 3,000. Only early position and the small blind called to see the 5♥ river. The small blind then bet 5,000 and Minnis called.
The small blind turned over J♦J♠ before the early-position player had a chance to act. He eventually mucked, while Minnis showed 7♥6♥ for trip sevens to win the pot.
Two-time Main Event champion Johnny Chan recently took his seat at this table.

The flop came down 8♠6♣J♥, the big blind checked over to Negreanu, who made a half-pot continuation-bet of 1,000. The big blind called and they were heads up to the turn.
The 9♣ appeared on the turn and the big blind checked to Negreanu who bet again, this time for 2,500, and the big blind called again.
A Q♠ river came in and the big blind checked over to Negreanu who sized up to 8,500 this time. The big blind folded and Negreanu raked in a nice pot.

Heads up on a board of K♥2♣10♦7♦, Justin Zaki bet 4,500 from the cutoff before Tony Cousineau raised to 13,000 in the big blind. Zaki then moved all in.
Cousineau, with around 25,000 remaining, tanked for several minutes until the clock was called. He allowed the countdown to reach zero and his hand was declared dead.
"It was almost my first cooler of the World Series. I had two pair. It was like I know that you know that I know, sort of thing," Cousineau said.

We caught Alban Juen once again collecting chips which brought his stack up to the 100,000-chip mark.
The board read 9♣K♣5♠9♥K♦ and Juen had A♥K♠ flipped up on the table for a full house, and his opponent, who was sitting in the cutoff, had already vacated the tournament area. We'll never know who the mystery player was but his 10♠10♦ was no good against the boat of Juen.

Around 8,000 was in the pot as Kenny Hallaert and an opponent went heads up to a flop of 8♠9♥3♣.
The small blind bet 2,500 and Hallaert called on the button. Both players checked the 7♣ turn.
The river was the 10♥ and the small blind checked again. Hallaert bet 8,500 and his opponent quickly folded.
"Are you doing ODB's 5K draft?" tablemate Daniel Negreanu asked Chino Rheem, who Negreanu drafted in the $25K draft last night.
"I would, but I can't pick myself," Ryan Hughes added.
"He's pissed," Negreanu joked.
Also seated at this table is reigning world champion Daniel Weinman.

Action started under the gun with a raise to 500, followed by a quick three-bet to 2,000 from the hijack. Preflop action wasn't done there when the button cold-four-bet to 5,000. The under-the-gun player folded while the hijack came along for a flop.
The flop was 10♠6♥5♣ and action went check, check. A J♥ fell on the turn and the hijack made a half-pot wager of 6,000. The button raised to 14,000 and the hijack called.
River was the 7♠ and the hijack checked. The button went all in for his remaining 15,300 and the hijack, Keyi Li, made the call.
Li scooped the pot tabling Q♥Q♠, stacking his opponent's top pair, top kicker of A♣J♠.
