Rast Bets Big Against Hunichen

Level 18 : Blinds 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante

Brian Rast and Chris Hunichen were heads-up on a board of 9892 when Rast bet 85,000 from under the gun. Hunichen called in the big blind.

Hustler Casino Live
Hustler Casino Live

Day 1 of the Hustler Casino Live Million Dollar Game was bonkers, with three pots hitting $1 million (okay, two, but one was a couple big blinds away, so we'll count it).

Tom Dwan lost $992,000, including a brutal bad beat pot worth over $1.1 million. But the night won't be remembered for "durrrr's" rough session. It will be known as the evening Michael "Texas Mike" Moncek pulled off one of the greatest bluffs ever witnessed on live stream.

Liu Finishes Off the World Champ

Level 17 : Blinds 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante
Daniel Weinman
Daniel Weinman

Xiaohu Liu three-bet to 60,000 on the button before Daniel Weinman moved all in for around 300,000 in the cutoff. Liu took out his camera and began filming the action as he called to put the reigning world champion at risk.

Daniel Weinman: KQ All in
Xiaohu Liu: AK

Weinman was crushed by Liu's better king as the K44 flop gave both players two pair. The rest of the board came 102 and Liu's ace-kicker played to send Weinman to the rail.

Zeidman Survives on the River

Level 17 : Blinds 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante

Bryce McVay opened to 20,000 from the cutoff and Robert Zeidman shoved all in from the small blind for 203,000. When the action got back to McVay, he made the call.

Robert Zeidman: AK All in
Bryce McVay: 1010

Zeidman didn't find any help from the first four cards on the board, J778, but the river card K saved him from elimination.

Weinman Doubles Through Bromfman and Eliminates Him the Next Hand

Level 17 : Blinds 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante
Daniel Weinman
Daniel Weinman

Daniel Weinman in the big blind and Pedro Bromfman, sitting under the gun, were all in before the flop.

Daniel Weinman: AAAll in
Pedro Bromfman: QQ

The board was KKA26, giving Weinman a full house and the double-up.

The very next hand the players were all in preflop yet again:

Daniel Weinman: Q10
Pedro Bromfman: KQAll in

This time Weinman had to come from behind. The flop was 844, the turn Q gave both players two pair, but Bromfman had the better kicker and was way ahead. However, the lucky 10 on the river gave the champ the win yet again, and Bromfman had to hit the rail.

Lehr Triples Up, Then Gives It Right Back

Level 17 : Blinds 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante

Keith Lehr moved all in for 73,000 under the gun and Aram Zobian called. Brent Roberts then reshoved on the button and Zobian folded.

Keith Lehr: 1010 All in
Brent Roberts: KQ

Lehr was racing for his tournament life and stayed in front through the 54486 board to earn a triple up.

A few hands later, though, Lehr moved all in again and Roman Pumpernick called for 166,000.

Roman Pumpernick: AJ All in
Keith Lehr: A10

Pumpernick had Lehr dominated and the 24K68 board provided no help to Lehr as Pumpernick doubled up.
