John Ripnick moved all in for 225,000 in the cutoff and Qui Nguyen called on the button. Michel Molenaar then reshoved for 850,000 in the small blind and Nguyen spent several minutes standing by his seat and looking back at the clock before calling.

Qui Nguyen: A8

Molenaar was ahead with his queens as the flop came 298. The turn was the K and Ripnick moved in the lead with a pair of kings. The 9 completed the board and Ripnick tripled, while Molenaar doubled up off Nguyen.

Earlier this month, thanks to an unfavorable city vote, Doug Polk was unsuccessful in his bid to open a massive poker room in a town near Dallas. But his team of investors, including poker vloggers Andrew Neeme and Brad Owen, are back and ready to take over what will soon become the largest card room in Texas.

Polk, who is playing in the Hustler Casino Live Million Dollar Game this week, announced during Wednesday's HCL stream that his team has purchased Rounders Card Club in San Antonio. The group already owns The Lodge Card Club in Round Rock, a suburb of Austin, and that room is currently the biggest in the Lone Star State with over 70 poker tables.

Qui Nguyen: QQ

Liu had run into Nguyen's queens as the flop came 3K5. The 7 turn was no help to Liu, while Nguyen made a set on the Q river to send Liu to the rail.

Ripnick Rewarded by the River

Level 20 : Blinds 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante

Keith Lehr raised to 50,000 from the hijack and John Ripnick defended his big blind.

Ripnick check-shoved the 34A flop over Lehr's 40,000-chip continuation bet, and Lehr made the call.

John Ripnick: 76 All in
Keith Lehr: KJ

A disaster for Ripnick but he managed to dig his way out of the hole he had found himself in as the 85 runout meant he rivered a straight to stay alive.

Liu Saved by the Deck

Level 20 : Blinds 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante

Qui Nguyen opened the action and got two callers in Nenad Dukic and Xiaohu Liu from the blinds.

On the 1078 flop, Nguyen bet 80,000 Dukic folded, Liu raised to 250,000, and Nguyen shoved all in. Liu had around 350,000 chips remaining and put them into the pot which put him at risk of elimination.

Xiaohu Liu: J3 All in
Qui Nguyen: JJ

Liu needed to find a spade to win the pot or a nine to chop it but the J turn didn't change anything.

The Chinese player did manage to survive as the 9 hit the river which meant both players were playing the board, much to the dismay of Nguyen.

Lehr Holds On Versus Liu

Level 20 : Blinds 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante

Four players went to the flop of 1034. Both players in the blinds checked, as did Keith Lehr in early position. Xiaohu Liu, who was in the cutoff, bet 65,000 into a pot of around 200,000.

The blinds both folded, but Lehr called.

A J was dealt on the turn. Lehr checked again and Liu bet 100,000. Lehr called.

The river was the K, Lehr checked once again. This time Liu decided to check as well. Lehr turned over AK for the rivered top pair and Liu mucked his hand, sending a healthy pot Lehr’s way.
