"Mo-Dugi" for Fathipour

Level 5 : Limits 500/1,000, 0 ante

Mo Fathipour limped the hijack, Robert "The Thorn" Rosengarten completed from the small blind, and the big blind checked his option.

Fathipour took one, Rosengarten took one, and the big blind took two. The action checked to Fathipour who bet, and both opponents made the call.

On the second draw, all players drew one card. Rosengarten checked, the big blind led out, and both opponents called.

All players took one card again, and the action checked to Fathipour who bet. While he contemplated the call, "The Thorn" asked to take another card, as he was unaware that there were no draws remaining. He eventually laid it down and the big blind called.

Fathipour revealed 542A for #3 and raked in a sizeable pot as the field size crossed 300 entries.

"I'm coming for those chips, Mo!" exclaimed Rosengarten as he begged the dealer for some help. Rosengarten agreed that "Mo-dugi" was a more accurate name than his proposed "Rob-dugi".

Allen Kessler

Action was picked up in a hand between three players including Allen Kessler in the small blind. A total of four bets went in pre.

Kessler stood pat, with the under the gun player drawing two, while the button stayed pat. Action checked to the button who bet and both Kessler and the under the gun player called.

Kessler stood pat while the under the gun player drew one and the button stood pat. Action checked once more to the button who bet and Kessler raised, getting a call from both of his opponents.

Kessler stood pat, the under the gun player drew one and the button now drew one, audibly regretting his decision when Kessler said check on the end.

All players checked and Kessler tabled J984 for a jack-nine and the button lamented that he had folded a jack-seven while Kessler took in the pot.
