Queen-Low Low Enough

Level 5

A-5 Triple Draw

Hal Rotholz raised from the hijack and was called by Daniel Negreanu in the cutoff and Anthony Arvidson on the button. Rotholz drew one card, Negreanu drew two, and Arvidson drew two as well.

All three players then checked and Arvidson was the only one to change his draw, drawing one card instead of two. Rotholz made a bet after the draw, which folded out Negreanu. Arvidson stuck around, however, and each player exchanged one card.

The action was checked down and Rotholz showed Qx6x5x4x2x for queen-low. Arvidson flashed his Kx before adding his cards to the muck and seeing the pot being shipped to Rotholz.

Harman's Descent Continues

Level 5

Badacey

Jen Harman raised under the gun and was called by Brian Brunner in the cutoff and the player in the big blind.

The big blind drew three while Harman and Brunner both drew two cards. The big blind then checked and Harman bet before Brunner raised. The big blind got out of the way but Harman stuck around with a call.

She drew one card before Brunner stood pat, and check-called Brunner's subsequent bet. The same actions happened on and after the final draw, leading Brunner to show 8542A for an eight-low and eight-badugi.

Harman could not beat either of those hands and her cards disappeared into the muck as she relinquished some more chips.
