Hopkins, Tarich Clash in Consecutive Hands

Level 23 : Blinds 20,000/40,000, 40,000 ante

The first two hands after the break saw Joshua Hopkins and Mark Tarich butt heads without a showdown on the river.

On the first event, Hopkins raised to 80,000 at the cutoff. Tarich, who was in the small blind, called after the button folded. The big blind mucked his hand to get out of the way.

The dealer fanned 10310 on the flop, which Tarich led out with a 100,000 bet. Hopkins called.

The 9 slowed down Tarich, as he checked. Hopkins then bet 130,000, which forced Tarich to fold after a few moments.

On the very next hand, Hopkins raised to 80,000 on the button and Tarich called out of the big blind.

The dealer fanned 4610 on the board, which saw both players check. The Q on the turn prompted Tarich to lead out with a 125,000 bet, resulting in a fold from Hopkins.

With each player winning a pot, the clashes were a draw.
