Stroud Sticks with Aces
Level 13
: 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante
Shuan Stroud started the action from middle position and raised to 3,000 getting a call from the small blind and big blind.
The flop came 9♣6♠2♠ and both blinds opted to check to Stroud who bet 12,000. The small blind responded by shoving all in, the big blind folded, and Stroud made a quick call.
Shuan Stroud: A♥A♦
Small Blind: 8♠4♠
The 10♥ turn and 9x river didn't improve the small blind as no spade showed, so Stroud's aces held to double him up.
