Hill Chips Up

Level 9 : Blinds 600/1,200, 1,200 ante

Cards were face up on the table and two players were all in, with Tom Hill having his opponent covered.

Opponent: A8 All in
Tom Hill: Q10

The flop came 35K, and Hill would need some help to knock out his opponent. That help came on the 10 turn, where Hill paired his ten. The river fell the K and Hill pulled in the pot.

Meono Doubles to Stay Alive

Level 9 : Blinds 600/1,200, 1,200 ante

James Meono in the cutoff, and the player in the big blind, had already built a sizeable pot by the 10AA flop.

Both players checked to see a Q turn. Meono jammed all in for around 12,000 and got the call from the big blind and the dealer peeled the 8.

Meono showed AK for trip aces, and the big blind mucked his hand.

Timotheou Eliminates a Short Stack and Aquires Additional Chips in the Process

Level 9 : Blinds 600/1,200, 1,200 ante

Timotheos Timotheou raised to 2,300 from the cutoff and the small blind called. The big blind was on a short stack with roughly 7,500 remaining and decided to exercise his option to go all in. Both opponents had him covered and made the call.

The flop was 952; the small blind checked, Timotheou bet 5,500, and the small blind called.

The turn was 2 and action checked through.

The river was 4; action checked through once again and the players tabled their hands

Timotheos Timotheou: 98
Small Blind: K10

Timotheou's pair was good enough to eliminate the big blind while taking the side pot from the small blind.
