Calabrese Takes the Family Pot

Level 6 : Blinds 300/600, 600 ante

Action started with a limp form middle position and button, followed by a call from Adam Calabrese in the small blind and a check from the button.

The table went four ways to the J33 flop and all players checked to see a turn.

The 5 turn prompted more checks from Calabrese, the big blind and middle position, before the button made a sizeable 3,400 bet, getting a call only from Calabrese.

When the 7 river was dealt, both players checked and Calabrese showed A10 for ace high, the button then mucked their hand.

It fanned out Q8Q and both players tapped the table, bringing the 3. Lefko checked and Hall placed a bet of 2,100. Lefko called.

The river completed with the K and both players tapped the table again. Lefko tabled A9 but he had been outdrawn by the 89 of Hall.

Buckner Picks Up Small Pot

Level 7 : Blinds 400/800, 800 ante

Steven Buckner raised from middle position to 2,000 and the hijack three-bet to 5,000. Buckner called and the flop came 8K10, which went check-check.

Both players checked again on the 4 turn. On the river, Buckner led out with a bet of 2,000, and it was good enough to take down the pot uncontested.
