Derkowski Takes from McNeil

Level 2 : Blinds 100/200, 200 ante

Calen McNeil opened 400 in the hijack before Grzegorz Derkowski three-bet 1,500 on the button. The blinds quickly folded, and McNeil made the call.

The dealer fanned a flop of J42, and McNeil check-called a bet of 1,700.

When the K hit the turn, McNeil checked once again and Derkowski fired 7,000 into the center. McNeil called.

The 8 completed the board and both players tapped the table. Derkowski announced top two as he tabled AKJ10 which was good.

Tuominen Stays Alive

Level 2 : Blinds 100/200, 200 ante

A large pot was building when action picked up between Eemil Tuominen and his opponent in the big blind.

The board read 6237 and when action checked to him, Tuominen bet pot (7,000). His opponent called and the dealer dealt the 10 on the river. When the big blind checked to him, Tuominen went all in for his remaining 9,500 chips and, after tanking briefly, the big blind eventually folded and Tuominen picked up a vital pot.

Mike Dentale

Mike Dentale opened 800 under the gun and the cutoff called before the button put in a three-bet to 3,700. Both Dentale and the button made the call.

The dealer spread a flop of Q32, and Dentale pushed a couple of stacks across the line before the dealer announced the bet was 11,700. The cutoff folded, but the button jammed for 45,300. Dentale had him slightly covered and quickly made the call.

Button: KQJ6 All in
Mike Dentale: A1054

The A turn gave Dentale the straight and the 7 completed the board on the river as the button exited the tournament.

No Resistance for Yanovski

Level 2 : Blinds 100/200, 200 ante

A player in middle positon and the cutoff both limped before Leonid Yanovski raised to 1,300 on the button. Both limpers made the call.

When the QJ8 flop hit the felt, the action checked to Yanovski who bet 600, which was enough to earn the pot as both opponents mucked their hands.
