Both players checked through the 7♣ turn and 10♥ river. Oya announced "kings" as he flipped over K♣K♥. This was good, as Daniels mucked his hand, and Oya pulled in the pot.
Poker legend Erik Seidel had a brutal exit from his latest 2024 World Series of Poker (WSOP) event, losing to a one-outer on the river deep in the tournament.
The hand, which should qualify as the WSOP Hand of the Day, took place on Thursday in Event #16: $5,000 8-Handed No-Limit Hold'em with 21 players remaining out of the original 823. And it was captured during the PokerGO livestream and by PokerNews live reporter Herbie Teope.
Chance Kornuth raised to 26,000 and Lewis Spencer defended from the big blind.

Espen Jorstad was left with just 39,000, and when it folded to him in the cutoff he moved all in. After the small blind folded, Alex Foxen reluctantly made the call.

Heath checked and Tollerene bet enough to put his opponent all in. Heath sat with 114,000 behind and used up all six of his remaining time banks before calling.

Yulian Bogdanov put out a stack of green 25,000-chips on the button and the small blind called off for around 140,000 as Phil Ivey went into the tank in the big blind. Ivey mulled a decision over a minute before putting in his stack of around 120,000.

Ivey was the only player with a pair but the Poker Hall of Famer couldn't stay ahead as the board ran out Q♣3♣10♦3♠2♠ to earn Bogdanov a double knockout.
When it folded to Shawn Daniels on the button he opened to 26,000. Nacho Barbero three-bet to 78,000 from the big blind. Daniels four-bet shoved for Barbero's remaining 350,000 chips. Barbero snap-called and the cards were revealed.
