Picking up the action on a flop of A♦7♥2♦ with Masashi Oya having bet 70,000 from the big blind, Shawn Daniels made the call from the button and they headed for the turn.

Both players checked through the 7♣ turn and 10♥ river. Oya announced "kings" as he flipped over K♣K♥. This was good, as Daniels mucked his hand, and Oya pulled in the pot.

Poker legend Erik Seidel had a brutal exit from his latest 2024 World Series of Poker (WSOP) event, losing to a one-outer on the river deep in the tournament.

The hand, which should qualify as the WSOP Hand of the Day, took place on Thursday in Event #16: $5,000 8-Handed No-Limit Hold'em with 21 players remaining out of the original 823. And it was captured during the PokerGO livestream and by PokerNews live reporter Herbie Teope.
