2024 World Series of Poker
All of the action occurred preflop as Santiago Nadal raised on the button to 60,000, and Darius Samual put the pressure on with a bet of 600,000, putting Nadal all in. Nadal made the call.
Santiago Nadal: A♣10♠
Darius Samual: Q♦K♠
The board favored Samual with 3♦J♠Q♠4♠2♦ as he won with the pair of queens, and Nadal was eliminated.
Robert Natividad raised all in for around 745,000 and got a call heads-up from Tobias Schwecht. Natividad needed something to change to stay in the game when the cards were flipped.
Robert Natividad: K♦J♣
Tobias Schwecht: K♣Q♦
The flop brought in two jacks for Natividad on a J♦J♠3♠ board.
The 4♣ turn and 7♥ river were all Natividad needed to hold with trip jacks and put him back in the chip lead.
Kfir Nahum went all in on a river reading 2♦2♥Q♦K♦K♣ and sent Alexander Farahi deep into the tank.
"I really want to call...", Farahi remarked.
Farahi eventually made the call, and Nahum declared a flush, turning over the J♦8♦, much to the chagrin of Farahi, who mucked his hand. Farahi announced that he had ace high.
Matthew Rosen and Michael Estes got their chips in preflop which left the latter at risk.
Michael Estes: A♥8♠
Matthew Rosen: 7♣7♠
Rosen propelled himself further into the lead on the K♣7♥J♦ flop after he flopped a set but the 9♠ turn did give some outs for Estes. However, the 2♦ isn't what Estes was looking for which meant he was eliminated and Rosen advanced.
On a board of 10♥9♥K♥J♦, Kfir Nahum had bet and been raised by Alexander Farahi to 275,000. Nahum called.
The river brought a 4♠ and Farahi went with a big bet of 600,000. It took some time for Nahum to mull it over but eventually he did toss in the call.
Farahi tabled J♥4♥ for a flopped flush and Nahum slammed his cards face down into the middle of the table.
Richard Dixon limped in from the small blind and Jamie Dwan checked his option.
They saw a flop of 10♠J♦7♣, and Dixon fired 30,000. Dwan called.
A 6♦ on the turn saw Dixon fire another bet of 70,000, and Dwan called again.
Another bet went in from Dixon on the 2♠ river, and Dwan called for a third time.
Dixon showed J♣3♦ for top pair and Dwan mucked.

In the final hand of this long heads up match, Sandy Piet limped in and James Davidson checked his option. The flop came out with 6♠Q♠7♥ and Davidson took the lead with 25,000 and Piet called.
The turn 4♦ elicited a bet from Piet and Davidson called.
Davidson check-raised to 600,000 after Piet bet the river 5♠ and Piet thought long and hard and made the call.
Piet showed 8♣10♦ for the straight but that wasn't enough as Davidson revealed 4♠8♠ for the flush.
