New WSOP Online Poker Site Merges Three US States; 30 Online Bracelet Events Scheduled

Level 22 : Blinds 10,000/15,000, 15,000 ante
WSOP.com
WSOP.com

The World Series of Poker (WSOP) is making a move that will change the online poker game in the US with the launch of WSOP Online, a new platform that will bring players from three states together.

Poker players in Nevada and New Jersey are already competing against each other on WSOP.com, while those in Michigan have a separate single-state site. But that is changing with the trio of states being merged together on one online poker site ahead of the 2024 WSOP. Pennsylvania's WSOP site will not be part of the shared liquidity deal.

On top of the merger news, the WSOP has announced 30 online bracelet events this summer on the new WSOP Online.

Samual Takes Table Chip Lead

Level 22 : Blinds 10,000/15,000, 15,000 ante
Darius Samual
Darius Samual

Min Zhang opened to 30,000 from the hijack and Darius Samual three-bet to 95,000 on the button. After the blinds folded, Zhang called.

They saw a flop of 95A which saw Zhang check-call an 80,000-chip bet from Samual.

On the 8 turn, Zhang checked again only to face a shove from Samual which more than covered the stack of Zhang. After a quick thought, Zhang stood up from her chair and pushed her remaining 200,000 chips into the middle.

"Sit down, sit down" remarked Samual.

Min Zhang: A6 All in
Darius Samual: K8

Zhang was ahead but didn't manage to fade the river as the 2 improved Samual to a flush and earned him the pot.

Martin Zamani was three-handed at his table but took a huge hit when he flopped a pair of queens against the KK of Grant Want. This left Zamani with less than 100,000 in chips which he got in the middle next hand.

Martin Zamani: 107All in
Elia Ahmadian: A7

Zamani was a long way from pulling ahead and the board was no help to him and he was sent on his way to the payouts' desk.
