Blinds: 10,000/15,000
Ante: 15,000
Daniel Strelitz wasted no time in getting his short stack all in which gave Sriharsha Doddapaneni a chance to win his table as the two were heads-up.
Daniel Strelitz: A♦7♦
Sriharsha Doddapaneni: K♥3♠
Strelitz survived and gave himself a lifeline as the 4♠5♠A♥J♣Q♦ board gave him top pair.
The Hand Before the Break:
Eric Froehlich lost a standard flip after he four-bet against Sean Ragozzini and got called.
Sean Ragozzini:A♠K♣
Eric Froehlick: J♠J♥
The flop peeled A♥9♥4♦ firmly flipping Ragozzini ahead and the 8♦ and 5♥ were no help to Froehlick who was left with only 15,000 chips after the hand was over.
Froehlick was seen leaving the tournament area shortly after returning from break.
Agustin Naranja was all in preflop for around 83,000 which got a call from Michael Estes, who had him covered.
Agustin Naranja: J♦8♦
Michael Estes:A♣A♦
When the players flipped their hands, Naranja stood from the table when he saw he was against aces.
The 9♥9♣2♣2♠10♥ board brought no hope for Naranja and he was eliminated from the tournament.
On Table #640, just two players remain. James Davidson and Sandy Piet will battle it out and both are aiming to become the first player to qualify for Day 3.
Martin Zamani was three-handed at his table but took a huge hit when he flopped a pair of queens against the K♥K♠ of Grant Want. This left Zamani with less than 100,000 in chips which he got in the middle next hand.
Martin Zamani: 10♠7♠
Elia Ahmadian: A♣7♦
Zamani was a long way from pulling ahead and the board was no help to him and he was sent on his way to the payouts' desk.
Min Zhang opened to 30,000 from the hijack and Darius Samual three-bet to 95,000 on the button. After the blinds folded, Zhang called.
They saw a flop of 9♠5♠A♥ which saw Zhang check-call an 80,000-chip bet from Samual.
On the 8♥ turn, Zhang checked again only to face a shove from Samual which more than covered the stack of Zhang. After a quick thought, Zhang stood up from her chair and pushed her remaining 200,000 chips into the middle.
"Sit down, sit down" remarked Samual.
Min Zhang: A♦6♦
Darius Samual: K♠8♠
Zhang was ahead but didn't manage to fade the river as the 2♠ improved Samual to a flush and earned him the pot.
Sean Ragozzini was sitting on a massive stack and then he knocked out Dong Chen in the following hand:
Chen moved all in from the small blind for 130,000 and Ragozzini made the call from the big blind.
Dong Chen: A♠2♥
Sean Ragozzini: A♣J♣
The board ran out as 8♥J♠5♠9♦2♣ and Chen was eliminated. Julien Sitbon has his work cut out for him with the inferior stack.
