Warren Sheaves opened to 6,000 from the hijack and Alex Foxen raised pot on the button. Action folded back around to Sheaves, who announced another raise to put Foxen all in for 33,500 total. Foxen called and a showdown was held.

According to Chris Brewer and other high rollers, some players are able to enter certain World Series of Poker (WSOP) events after registration has closed, and many have proposed solutions to the problem.

Jack Effel, Vice President of the World Series of Poker and Caesars Digital, assured PokerNews that players have not been abusing any late registration rules.

Holley and Thibodaux Chop up Some of Duek’s Chips

Joshua Thibodaux raised to 6,000 from early position and was called by Michael Duek in the small blind and John Holley in the big blind.

It was checked to Thibodaux on the 4♦3♠9♥ flop and he continued for 8,000. Both Duek and Thibodaux called.

The 5♦ fell on the turn and it was again checked to Thibodaux, who fired 23,000 into the middle. Duek folded and Holley called.

Holley led out for a pot-sized bet on the 8♠ river and Thibodaux quickly called. Holley turned over K♥7♣6♣5♠ for a nine-high straight for the high and Thibodaux tabled A♦J♦3♥2♥ for the low.

The flop came K♦6♠2♠. The small blind checked, Guagenti bet 25,000, Seidel shoved, the small blind got out of the way and Guagenti, who was slightly covered, made the call.

Seidel improved to a boat on the K♠ turn but Guagenti completed his low-draw on the 7♥ river and the two players chopped the pot.

The flop came 8♥3♠7♣ and Cahill announced, “Pot,” which got a quick fold from Hui to send Cahill the pot.

Joshua Thibodaux opened to 8,000 from under the gun and received calls from Ben Lamb in the cutoff, Michael Duek on the button, John Holley in the small blind and Marco Johnson in the big blind.

The flop came A♦10♣7♣ and action checked around to Thibodaux, who fired a 22,000 continuation-bet. Lamb fired back with a pot-sized raise to 110,000 and action folded around to Thibodaux, who briefly went into the tank.

After a couple of minutes, Thibodaux opted to fold and Lamb took down a healthy pot without showdown.
