Mercier checked again after the second draw, Volpe bet and Mercier folded.
Daniel James raised in the cutoff and Keith Lehr called in the big blind.
Lehr drew three and James took one. James then bet and Lehr called.
"Save those chips unless you make it," Lehr told James as he drew two and James took one more. James bet again, Lehr raised, and James called all in.
Both players stood pat and Lehr turned over 7x6x5x3x2x. James mucked and was sent to the rail.
Marco Johnson opened from the small blind and Brian Tate defended from the big blind, drawing three while Johnson drew one.
After the first draw Johnson check-called a bet from Tate and drew two while Tate drew one.
Johnson check-called another bet from Tate after the second draw. This time each player drew one.
With no draws remaining Johnson bet and Tate called. Johnson tabled 8x7x6x4x3x and Tate mucked.
Heads-up on the second draw, Benny Glaser drew two and Phil Ivey took one.
Ivey then bet and Glaser raised. Ivey called and drew one more, while Glaser stood pat.
Glaser bet again and Ivey called. Glaser showed 8x7x5x4x2x, but Ivey had 8x6x4x3x2x to win the pot.
Jeremy Ausmus opened the cutoff, Tobias Leknes three-bet from the button, Walter Chambers called in the big blind, and Ausmus called.
Chambers drew two, Ausmus drew two, and Leknes drew one. The action checked to Leknes who bet, Chambers raised, Ausmus folded, and Leknes called.
On the second draw, both players took one. Chambers check-called a bet from Leknes.
Chambers drew one on the final draw while Leknes stood pat. The action checked through and Leknes tabled the winning 9x7x5x3x2x to win a sizeable pot.
Bryce Yockey and Chino Rheem drew two on the first draw, while Daniel James took one and bet.
Both players called and James and Yockey drew one. Rheem took two and James bet again. Rheem called for his last chips, while Yockey also called.
All three players drew one on the third draw and Yockey and James checked. Yockey showed a pair of sevens, James a pair of threes, and Rheem turned over 9x8x5x4x2x to win the pot and triple up.
Steve Zolotow opened from under the gun and Maxx Coleman three-bet from the hijack. Zolotow four-bet and Coleman called off with the remainder of his stack, putting himself at risk.
Zolotow drew one for all three draws while Coleman drew one for the first draw and then stood pat from there.
Coleman tabled 8x7x6x4x2x but Zolotow had him pipped with 8x7x6x3x2x to send Coleman to the rail and take the pot.
Nacho Barbero raised under the gun and Danny Tang called on the button.
Barbero drew two and Tang one. Barbero then checked to Tang who bet, and Barbero called.
Both players drew one and checked the second draw. They each took one again and Barbero then led out with a bet.
Tang called and Barbero showed 8x7x5x4x3x to win the pot, dropping Tang to a short stack.
Jesse Klein was already all in with a big pot in the middle as Brian Tate and Paul Volpe built a side pot on the third draw.
Tate bet from the button before Volpe raised in the cutoff. Tate reraised and Volpe tanked for a minute before folding.
Tate showed 7x6x4x3x2x and Klein mucked before heading for the exit.
Dustin Dirksen and Tomer Daniel were also recently eliminated.
