Guilbert’s Straight Dispatches Enselme

Level 24 : Blinds 20,000/40,000, 40,000 ante

Action picked up in a hand between Johan Guilbert and Arnaud Enselme, and it turned into a big showdown.

Guilbert bet on a board showing 10Q9 and Enselme responded with a check-raise. Guilbert didn’t flinch and moved all in, which covered Enselme.

Enselme called to put himself at risk, and the cards were tabled.

Arnaud Enselme: 10x9x All in
Johan Guilbert: KJ

Gulibert was ahead with a flopped nut straight, while Enselme flopped bottom two pair.

Enselme needed any 10 or nine for a full house, but neither card arrived after J hit the turn and J appeared on the river to send him to the rail.

Hunichen Loses a Big Pot to Hoffenberg and is Left with Just a Few Big Blinds

Level 24 : Blinds 20,000/40,000, 40,000 ante

All the money went in before the flop. Chris Hunichen open-raised in early position, Maurice Hawkins called on the cut-off. David Hoffenberg then shoved from the small blind. Hunichen called, Hawkins folded.

David Hoffenberg: KKAll in
Chris Hunichen: AQ

The flop K99 was terrible for Hunichen, giving Hoffenberg a full house and leaving him with running aces as the only way to win. He started counting out the bet for Hoffenberg's stack before the dealer dealt out the 2 turn and the 3. A pot of around 2,000,000 was sent to Hoffenberg and Hunichen kept a very short stack.
