Bojovic Sent to Rail

Level 24 : Blinds 20,000/40,000, 40,000 ante

Luka Bojovic moved all in on the button for his remaining 600,000.

Action folded to Raul Martinez, who asked for a count. The dealer confirmed the amount and Martinez called to put Bojovic at risk.

Raul Martinez: 77

The dealer fanned KAK on the board, keeping Martinez in the lead. The K improved Martinez’s hand to a full house, but Bojovic still had outs to the river.

It didn’t happen, though, as 9 appeared on the turn to give Martinez the knockout blow.

Reichard Digs Deep to Make the Call

Level 24 : Blinds 20,000/40,000, 40,000 ante
Joshua Reichard
Joshua Reichard

Action picked up with Joshua Reichard in a spot.

The board showed 27A33 and Reichard just bet 130,000 after Sean Ragozzini checked in the blind.

Ragozzini responded with a healthy check-raise to 730,000, which put Reichard in the tank.

Reichard pondered the situation, alternating glances with his opponent and the board. All the while, Reichard used his right hand to shuffle chips while deciding.

After a little more than a minute elapsed, Reichard reached into his chip stack, and then placed chips in the middle to make the call.

Ragozzini showed Q2 for two pair, threes and twos, which ultimately were no good.

Reichard tabled JJ for a bigger two pair to secure a large pot.

Farah Galfond has had to wait patiently for most of the day, but finally got something going on the last hand before the dinner break.

She opened from middle position and after everyone else folded, Eoghan O'Dea defended the big blind.

The flop was 7K6. O'Dea checked and Galfond bet 70,000. O'Dea raised and Galfond went all in. O'Dea called.

Eoghan O'Dea: 97

O'Dea was not in terrible shape with the open-ended straight draw, but the turn A and river 2 didn't give him what he needed and Galfond doubled up.
