Federico Castaing
Federico Castaing

Federico Castaing shoved all in from middle position for a little over 10,000,000 and Aaron Johnson made the call on the button.

Federico Castaing: 55 All in
Aaron Johnson: AJ

The flop of 2109 was safe for Castaing but the J turn gave Johnson a pair. Castaing needed a five on the river to stay alive but the 3 was no help, which ended his run in the tournament.

Neves Applies the Pressure

Level 39 : Blinds 1,000,000/1,500,000, 1,500,000 ante

Pedro Neves raised to 2,400,000 in early position and Fausto Valdez three-bet to 7,300,000 on the button.

Neves then came over the top with a four-bet all in, putting Valdez at risk. After some thought, Valdez tossed his cards into the muck.

Johnson Rivers Two Pair With Rags

Level 39 : Blinds 1,000,000/1,500,000, 1,500,000 ante

Tim Reilly limped in from the button for 1,500,000, and Aaron Johnson checked his option in the big blind.

Both checked the 2Q6 flop to the A turn. Johnson checked, Reilly bet 2,000,000, and Johnson called.

A 4 came on the river which went check-check. Johnson tabled 42 for a rivered two pair, and Reilly mucked.

Estol Powers Through Flop

Level 39 : Blinds 1,000,000/1,500,000, 1,500,000 ante

Manuel Estol raised 3,000,000 before the flop and action folded to Fausto Valdez in the big blind, and Valdez called.

The dealer fanned 243 on the flop, and Valdez checked. Estol then bet 2,500,000 and fireworks began.

Valdez was deliberate in his actions, studying the board and looking at Estol. Valdez then check-raised to 7,500,000.

This time, it was Estol’s turn to be deliberate with his actions.

Estol shuffled his chips, peeked at his cards twice, and took up to a minute before announcing an all-in bet.

Valdez immediately folded.

Fausto Valdez Eliminated in 11th Place ($90,719); Alex Abariotes Eliminated in 12th Place ($72,066)

Level 39 : Blinds 1,000,000/1,500,000, 1,500,000 ante
Fausto Valdez
Fausto Valdez

Pedro Neves opened to 3,000,000 from the hijack, and Alex Abariotes shoved for 8,500,000 on the button. Fausto Valdez made the call out of the big blind, and Neves shoved all in behind. Valdez quickly called.

Alex Abariotes: 66 All in
Fausto Valdez: AA All in
Pedro Neves: QQ

Valdez was in a great spot to almost triple-up but the flop of 73Q dampened his plans as Neves improved to top set. Abariotes needed running cards to survive and was half way there when the 5 hit the turn as any four would complete his straight. However, the 9 river was a brick which meant both Abariotes and Valdez were eliminated.
