Stewart Doubles Up

Level 32 : Blinds 150,000/300,000, 300,000 ante

Action folded around the table to Caleb Bloomer on the button, and Bloomer limped in.

Chad Stewart, who was in the small blind, eyed Bloomer for a few moments, and then moved all in for his remaining 2,450,000.

The big blind folded and action returned to Bloomer, who called to put Stewart at risk.

Chad Stewart: A8 All in
Caleb Bloomer: KQ

The dealer fanned AA2 on the board, and Bloomer acknowledged Stewart’s flopped trip aces by patting the table.

The 10 appeared on the turn, opening a gutshot straight possibility for Bloomer. The jack, however, didn’t appear on the river. Instead, 2 showed up to give Stewart aces full and the full double up.

Roff Defends, Takes Chunk from Ivers

Level 32 : Blinds 150,000/300,000, 300,000 ante

David Ivers raised 600,000 under the gun and action folded around the table to Brian Roff, who was in the big blind. Roff elected to defend with a call.

The dealer fanned JA8 on the board, and Roff checked. Ivers fired a bet of 500,000, resulting in Roff immediately calling.

The 6 arrived on the turn, and Roff once again checked out of position. Ivers sized up to a 1,500,000 bet, and Roff called.

The dealer placed J on the river to pair the board. Both players checked and Roff tabled A10 for two pair.

Ivers saw Roff’s hand and mucked his hand face down.
