Burns Gets Coleman Fired Up, Peters Quietly Departs

Level 7 : Blinds 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante
David Peters
David Peters

Kahle Burns opened to 22,000 from early position and was called by David Coleman in the cutoff. David Peters then moved all in for 76,000 on the button. Burns responded by raising to 130,000 with Coleman making the call to see a flop.

Burns continued for 90,000 on the 7K8 flop but could not shake off Coleman as he flatted.

The 8 turn paired the board and saw Burns bet again, this time making it 175,000. Coleman thought for some time before mucking his holding.

David Peters: A10 All in
Kahle Burns: A3

Peters was ahead, though Burns did have a flush draw. While the 3 river did not complete that draw, it did pair up Burns' inferior kicker to send Peters to the rail while giving the Australian even more chips to add to his large stack.

As Peters left the table, Burns and Coleman exchanged some sharp words with the latter visibly frustrated at the outcome of the hand.

Bonomo Jams on Badziakouski

Level 6 : Blinds 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante

Mikita Badziakouski and Justin Bonomo had put 182,000 chips in the middle when a flop of 8JQ was put on the table. Badziakouski made a bet of 80,000 from the small blind and received a call from Bonomo under the gun.

Badziakouski then check-called a 55,000 bet from Bonomo on the 4 turn before he led out again for 175,000 on the 10 river.

Bonomo took a glance at Badziakouski's stack before putting him all in for 380,000 in total.

Badziakouski spent three time banks before eventually folding his hand, granting the pot to Bonomo without showdown.

Ausmus Makes a Set

Level 6 : Blinds 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante

Picking up the action on the turn, Chris Hunichen in the big blind was involved in a hand with Jeremy Ausmus on the button.

With the board reading K1037, Hunichen checked to Ausmus who bet 150,000 into a pot of around 300,000. After some thought, Hunichen called.

Both players checked on the A river and Hunichen tabled A10 for two pair. It was no good, however, as Ausmus held 77 for the set of sevens to take down a sizable pot.

Jake Schindler opened from the cutoff and Chris Brewer defended in the big blind.

Brewer check-called a bet of 12,000 from Schindler on the 27K flop and then checked again following the A turn. Schindler fired again, this time making it 45,000 to call. Brewer stayed sticky and made the call.

Schindler bet one last time after Brewer checked to him on the 3 river, sizing up to 135,000. Brewer considered, then called but could not beat Schindler's 54 for the wheel.
