Ausmus Applies Water to the Burn

Level 6 : Blinds 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante

Kahle Burns checked out of the big blind to Jeremy Ausmus in the cutoff on a flop of 728. Ausmus made a bet of 20,000 chips, which Burns then raised to 65,000.

On the 5 turn, Burns continued for 115,000 and Ausmus called. The J river then slowed down Burns as he checked to Ausmus. Ausmus fired 200,000 chips and the action was back on Burns.

"I don't see how I can fold this," Burns stated. "Do you have two queens over there?"

He made the call and Ausmus indeed tabled QQ for pocket queens, winning the pot.

Level 6 : Blinds 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante
Tony Lin 'Ren'
Tony Lin 'Ren'

Daniel Negreanu opened to 12,000 from under the gun and Artur Martirosian three-bet to 40,000 in middle position. Isaac Haxton then four-bet to 87,000 on the button to bring quick folds from both opponents.

Ren Lin reached over the table to give Haxton a fist bump before running to the other side of the table and giving Martirosian a slap on the wrist. He then began singing in Chinese and opened up to the table about his financing.

"If I lose, I find a new sugar mommy!" he said.
