Iadisernia Survives Scare on the Bubble

Level 18 : Blinds 60,000/120,000, 120,000 ante

On the bubble, Daniel Aharoni shoved all in from the button and Giuseppe Iadisernia called off his last 1,365,000 from the big blind.

Giuseppe Iadisernia: KJ All in
Daniel Aharoni: 53

Aharoni pulled in front on the Q59 flop but Iadisernia paired up on the J turn. A 2 on the river kept Iadisernia alive and the bubble remained unburst.

Tang Looks at One, Doubles with Big Slick

Level 18 : Blinds 60,000/120,000, 120,000 ante
Danny Tang
Danny Tang

[Removed:554] raised in the small blind and tournament short stack Danny Tang called in the big blind with a stack of about 325,000 after looking at one card.

As action played out at other tables, Tang revealed that he had an ace but didn't know his kicker.

"Alright, what do you have? Flip them up," said Michael Jozoff.

"You're not TD! I can't listen to you!" replied Tang before turning around. "Anyone on the rail here want to root for me?"

"Danny Tang never bubbles, whatever," commented Henrick Hecklen.

Danny Tang: AK All in
[Removed:554]: 85

Incredibly, Tang woke up with a pure premium and held for a double as the rollercoaster board ran out A9396 to bring waves of "oohs" and "ahhs" from the table and spectators.

Aharoni Gets Some Value

Level 18 : Blinds 60,000/120,000, 120,000 ante

Daniel Aharoni opened under the gun to 300,000 and only Nick Petrangelo called from the seat to his direct left.

The action checked all the way to the river on a board of 34A6J. Upon seeing that river Aharoni put out a bet of 375,000. Petrangelo thought for a while before making the call. Aharoni flipped over A9 to win the pot.

Lichtenberger Triples Up; Bonomo Takes the Side Pot in Three-Way All-In

Level 18 : Blinds 60,000/120,000, 120,000 ante
Andrew Lichtenberger
Andrew Lichtenberger

Justin Bonomo opened the cutoff to 240,000 and Andrew Lichtenberger shoved all in from the small blind for 2,340,000. Viktor Blom then shoved all in from the big blind before Bonomo committed his stack of 3,540,000 to the pot.

Andrew Lichtenberger: KJ All in
Justin Bonomo: AA All in
Viktor Blom: AQ

Blom had both of his opponents covered and would take a huge chip lead plus burst the bubble if he could find a way to win the hand.

However, it was Lichtenberger who was catapulted into the lead as the JK9 flop gave him two pair. Blom picked up a Broadway draw and Bonomo still had outs to win the hand.

The K turn gave Lichtenberger a full house which further increased his lead. Only an ace on the river would prevent Lichtenberger from scooping the main pot but the 3 was a brick which meant he tripled up, and Bonomo took the side pot from Blom.

Santhosh Suvarna: AK All in
Aleksejs Ponakovs: JJ
