Slowrolling — it's a divisive topic in the poker world. Some players take great joy in taking part in the act, while for others, it's their biggest pet peeve when at the table.

There have been plenty of examples that have made headlines over the years, with Nik Airball's slowroll on Ethan 'Rampage' Yau on Hustler Casino Live being a recent case study.

And now, at the 2024 World Series of Poker, we may have seen the biggest slowroll of the summer so far.

Tang Bubbles at the Hands of [Removed:555]

Level 18 : Blinds 60,000/120,000, 120,000 ante
Danny Tang
Danny Tang

On the direct bubble, [Removed:554] raised to 240,000 and Danny Tang three-bet to 880,000 with just 80,000 chips behind. After the big blind folded, [Removed:555] moved all-in. Tang made the call and the cards were revealed.

Danny Tang: A9 All in
[Removed:554]: JJ

A J in the window was a disastrous sight for Tang. The 97 followed on the flop meaning Tang needed running cards to stay alive. The 3 turn cemented his elimination as an inconsequential K came on the river.

With Tang's elimination the remaining players had guaranteed themselves at least a $209,346 payday.
