Georgios Sotiropoulos opened with a minimum-raise to 40,000 from under the gun. Yang Zhang was the only caller out of the small blind and they headed to the flop.
The A♠6♥Q♣ flop saw a check from Zhang and a bet of 80,000 from Sotiropoulos. Zhang reluctantly folded his hand and Sotiropoulos pulled in the pot.
On a board of Q♣7♥8♠A♦, David Coleman bet 90,000 on the turn, and Dong Chen made the call.
A 10♠ completed the board and after some time thinking, Coleman bet 415,000 of his 420,000-chip stack. Chen didn't need to think for too long before he let go of his hand, and the pot was pushed to Coleman.
The hijack opened the action with a raise to 40,000. Kavin Shah moved all in for his last 165,000 chips from the cutoff before Mostafa Haidary re-raised all in for 620,000. The hijack mucked and players went off to a full board.
Kavin Shah: A♥5♠
Mostafa Haidary: Q♦Q♥
The board ran out 9♦J♦J♥2♣6♥ earning Haidary the pot and Shah was sent to the payout desk.
Ihar Soika raised to 20,000 from the button and Bogdan Munteanu three-bet to 60,000 from the small blind. Krasimir Yankov cold-called from the big blind and Soika folded.
Munteanu bet 40,000 on the A♣6♠Q♦ flop and Yankov made the call. The 2♣ turn and 4♠ river got checked down and Munteanu showed 3♦2♦ to take down the pot
The button opened the action with a raise to 40,000 before Yang Zhang three-bet to 130,000 from the small blind. Russell Rosenblum four-bet jammed his 455,000-chip stack into the middle and the button folded. Zhang gave it a thought but ultimately flicked in a chip for a call.
Russell Rosenblum: 9♠9♣
Yang Zhang: A♠10♣
The board ran out Q♣A♥7♠K♥8♥ and Zhang sent Rosenblum to the payout desk while adding to his table leading stack.
Life Outside Poker is a new podcast for PokerNews hosted by Connor Richards that seeks to pull back the curtain on poker players and allow viewers and listeners to get to know them on a personal level.
In the eighth episode, Connor speaks with legendary UFC ring announcer Bruce Buffer in an exclusive in-depth interview after Buffer's deep run in the 2024 World Series of Poker (WSOP) $50,000 High Roller. Buffer, a longtime poker player, finished in eighth place for a career-best $212,423 after kicking off Day 3 with his trademark "it's time" introduction.
Buffer talked about finding his long-lost half-brother, Michael Buffer, and becoming his manager, the early days of the UFC, the similarities between poker and martial arts, his relationships with Joe Rogan and Dana White, playing poker with Tobey Maguire and Leonardo DiCaprio and the time he injured himself in a poker tournament before announcing the biggest UFC fight in history.

Lester Edoc checked from the big blind and Krasimir Yankov fired for 35,000 from the button. Schwartz made the fold, but Edoc made the call to the turn.
While the turn peeled the A♥, Edoc was quick to check to Yankov.
He continued for 135,000 and found a fold from Edoc.
