Anatoly Nikitin opened the action with a raise to 5,500 from the cutoff. Shannon Shorr three-bet to 24,000 from the small blind and Nikitin made the call.
Shorr continued for 15,000 on 6♦K♦5♣ and Nikitin called.
Action went check-check on the J♥ turn before Nikitin fired 80,000 on the 3♦ river. Shorr went into the tank but eventually found a fold.
On a board of 10♣3♠7♥ Pierce Mckellar was under the gun and check-called a bet of 15,000 from Eric Hicks.
Both players checked the K♠ turn to see the 5♦ come on the river. Mckellar bet 12,500 and Hicks made the call. Mckellar turned over A♥10♥, but Hicks had that beat with J♣J♦
Action was caught after the all in and call had been made by Matthew Wantman and Mohammad Arani. Both players revealed their hands.
Matthew Wantman: 3♥3♦
Mohammad Arani: A♦K♣
The board ran clean for Wantman as it came 10♦5♥2♠10♥4♦. Wantman credited his victory to his "confidence" attributing the quote to fellow player Bryn Kenney.
Craig Varnell opened the action with a raise to 5,000 from the hijack. Nick Marchington moved all in from the small blind for 38,000 and Varnell made the quick call.
Nick Marchington: A♦4♦
Craig Varnell: 10♥10♣
The board ran out J♥K♥4♠5♦8♦ and Varnell faded an ace to send Marchington packing and chip up.
Alexandre Reard opened the button to 5,500 and got a call from the small blind before Cherish Andrews shoved for 33,500 out of the big blind. Reard then shoved, and the small blind folded.
Cherish Andrews: A♠4♠
Alexandre Reard: 10♠10♥
Andrews added a lot of outs on the J♥3♠Q♠ flop and even more on the 2♥ turn. However, the 3♥ river was a brick which meant Andrews was sent to the rail early on Day 2.
Reard, who bought in at the start of Day 2, has already tripled his stack.
Ryo Hara raised to 5,500 from the button and Julien Sitbon defended his big blind.
The flop came Q♥A♣9♥ and Sitbon was quick to check. Hara fired for 4,500 and was called by Sitbon.
While the turn peeled the 7♣, Sitbon again checked to Hara. He continued for 17,000 and was called.
The river was the 10♠ and Sitbon checked his action. Hara jammed all in for 64,000 and put Sitbon into the tank. Eventually, Sitbon made the fold for Hara to take the pot.
Narongsak Dhanjaichon raised from the button to 5,500 and Cesar Garcia three-bet from the small blind to 17,000. Dhanjaichon called and they headed to the flop.
Garcia led out for 9,000 on the 6♥5♣2♦ flop and Dhanjaichon called.
Garcia checked the 4♣ turn. Dhanjaichon bet out 14,000 and after a few moments, Garcia laid his hand down.
