In the first hand dealt, Jason Daly put his 60,000 chips into the middle from under the gun and Brandon Schwartz shoved all in for 600,000 from the cutoff.
Jason Daly: 10♦9♠
Brandon Schwartz: A♣K♠
Daly flopped a pair, fell behind on the turn, but rivered two pair to stay alive and almost quadruple his stack on the 9♣7♠6♥K♦10♥ runout.
Jason Daly had an action-packed start to the day but it all came to an end just as he started to get a glimmer of hope.
Daly had already doubled up once and shoved all in with Q♠8♠ and got called Tyler Cornell's J♠J♥. A runout of Q♥4♦4♥6♥10♦ saw Daly hit top pair and double up.
The very next hand, Bogdan Munteanu shoved all in from the small blind, and Daly snapped from the big blind.
Jason Daly: A♣8♠
Bogdan Munteanu: J♦9♥
The board ran out 7♣7♠9♦10♥9♠ which gave Munteanu a full house, and ended Daly's run.
