The action continues today at the 2024 World Series of Poker in the Horseshoe and Paris Las Vegas. Starting at 12 p.m. local time is Day 2 of one of the most prestigious events thus far, Event #52: $5,000 No-Limit Hold'em 6-Handed. The first day attracted 709 entrants with only 231 currently remaining.

Another ten 60-minute levels are scheduled today, with 15-minute breaks occurring after every two levels and a one hour dinner break at roughly 6:30 p.m. Play will resume at Level 11 with blinds at 1,000/2,500 with a 2,500 big blind ante. Players will bag and tag for Day 3 at the end of Level 20.

Bracelet winner and Winamax team pro Julien Sitbon bagged the biggest stack coming into Day 2 with 520,500 chips worth 208 big blinds. Other top stacks and notables in Day 2 include Krasimir Yankov (500,000), Joseph Roh (392,000), Damian Salas (337,000), and $25k Fantasy drafts Bin Weng (310,000) and Shannon Shorr (254,000). Since late registration and reentries remain available until the end of Level 11 at approximately 1 p.m., more recognizable faces are bound to appear within the field.

George Wolff shoved all in for 23,000 from under the gun and Anton Lu made the call on the button.

"It's not nice to bust people so early in the day," said Wolff.

The flop of 3♥J♠2♥ kept Lu's pocket fours in the lead but Wolff paired up on the Q♠ turn to take the lead. A 2♠ river was no help to Lu which meant Wolff scored an early double-up.
