Leonard Scoops Huge With Number Two

2-7 Triple Draw

The player under the gun raised and the player on the button called. Barry Greenstein then called in the small blind and so did Patrick Leonard in the big blind.

On the first draw, each player drew two cards, after which Greenstein led out. Leonard then raised, folding out the player under the gun.

The button put in a three-bet, however. Greenstein called before Leonard made it four bets to go. This time, both the button and Greenstein called.

On the second draw, Greenstein drew one while his two opponents remained bet. The action then checked to the button, who tossed in a bet. Greenstein called and Leonard raised, seeing both the button and Greenstein calling for one more bet.

Greenstein drew one card on the final draw while the other two remained pat. Greenstein then checked, Leonard bet, and the button called before Greenstein got out of the way.

Leonard showed 7x6x4x3x2x for the second nuts, and scooped a huge pot when the button's cards hit the muck.

Hecht Wins After Opponent Bricks

A-5 Triple Draw

Action was picked up between two players just after the second draw with around 8,000 in the middle. Gina Hecht bet and was called by an opponent who was in position, who drew two while Hecht stood pat.

With no draws remaining Hecht bet. Her opponent showed 22 and mentioned that he had broken a nine before opting to fold.

Bigelow Notches Opponent

A-5 Triple Draw

A player in the hijack opened and received calls from Jason Bigelow in the cutoff and Brian Yoon on the button. Yoon drew three while the other players each took two.

After the first draw the hijack bet, Bigelow made it two bets, Yoon folded and the hijack called, drawing one while Bigelow stood pat.

Bigelow bet again when checked to after the second draw and the hijack raised to two big bets. Bigelow made the call and both players stood pat and checked.

The hijack had a seven with 7x4x3x2xAx but Bigelow had a six with 6x5x4x3x2x to take the pot.

Hoye Rakes In Three-Bet Pot

The player on the button raised before Umeme Hoye made it three bets to go in the small blind. The button called and drew three cards after Hoye had drawn one.

Hoye then bet and the button called, after which they each drew one card on the second draw. Hoye slowed down and check to the button, who made a bet. Hoye called and drew one card on the final draw, as did the player on the button.

Hoye check-called one final bet after the draw, and the button tabled 9x8x7x5x2x. Hoye had the better hand with 9x8x6x4x2x, however, and added more chips to his stack.

Sakai Bests Engel's Pat

Arriving after the first draw, Ari Engel made a bet from the big blind and was called by Eita Sakai on the button. Engel then drew one card on the second draw while Sakai needed two.

Engel bet again, Sakai raised and Engel called. Engel stood pat on the final draw before Sakai decided to take one. Both players then checked to showdown, where Sakai's 8x7x4x3x2x won against Engel's 10x6x5x4x2x.

Gunn Fires Three Barrels

Action was picked up just before the first draw between three players and around 5,000 in the middle. Patrick Gunn drew two from the small blind, Roland Israelashvili drew one from the big blind and a player on the button drew one.

After the first draw Gunn checked, Israelashvili bet, the button raised and Gunn made it three bets. Both Israelashvili and the button made the call, drawing one each while Gunn stood pat.

Gunn bet again after the second draw and was called by both opponents. Gunn stood pat again, Israelashvili drew one and the player on the button stood pat.

With no draws remaining Gunn bet, Israelashvili folded and the player on the button called. The button showed 864A for an eight-six badugi but Gunn had him beat with 854A for an eight-five badugi to take the pot.
