Rotholz Bounces Back

Level 6
Hal Rotholz
Hal Rotholz

Limit Hold'em

Hal Rotholz recalled in the break that he had been down to as little as 80,000 in chips before he scored a crucial double when his redraw with the same nut straight got there. Ever since, things appear to have been running smooth again and he just dragged in another pot.

Renan Bruschi was spotted leading the AK744 river out of the small blind and Rotholz then raised on the button.

"Really? You have a set?" Bruschi asked and sigh-called. Rotholz tabled his AA for aces full and Bruschi mucked the Q10 for the flopped nut flush.

Koray Aldemir and Yingui Li are no longer on the table while Benny Glaser had been moved there.

Weisman Cannot Bluff Hui

Level 5
Phillip Hui
Phillip Hui

No-Limit Hold'em

With the flop showing K66, Michael Rocco in the cutoff bet 4,500. Dylan Weisman on the button raised to 20,500 and Rocco folded.

Weisman then raised to 6,500 in the cutoff and Phil Hui defended the big blind. On a flop of 652, Hui check-called for 8,500 and did so again for 42,000 on the J turn. That led them to the 6 river on which Hui checked once more.

Weisman fired out a bet worth 110,000 and Hui quickly called.

"You got it," Weisman said and flashed the 97 for a missed gutshot. Hui had that beat with 22 for a full house to rake in a decent pot.

Urbanovich Busts to Obst; Obst Takes From Ono

Level 5

No-Limit Hold'em

On a Jx10x4x2xKx board, James Obst bet 105,000 and called a shove from Dzmitry Urbanovich for his last 201,000.

Urbanovich held QxJx but Obst had rivered two pair with KxJx and sent Urbanovich to the rail.

Seven Card Stud

In the previous hand, Dzmitry Urbanovich had busted in a big No-Limit Hold'em pot to James Obst.

Phil Ivey: XxXx / 81010folded on fifth street
Rob Hollink: XxXx / 2Q5folded on fifth street
James Obst: XxXx / A4A2 / Xx
Saya Ono: XxXx / 106106 / Xxfolded on seventh street

Rob Hollink brought in, James Obst completed and got calls from Saya Ono, Phil Ivey and Hollink.

Obst checked fourth street and Ono bet. Ivey and Hollink called before Obst raised and got three callers.

"What about me?" Hollink asked the dealer after everyone but him paired on fifth street. Obst bet and Ono was the only caller.

Ono double-paired on sixth street and Obst called a bet. Ono checked seventh street and Obst bet. Ono eventually folded.

Vieira Surprises Pisarenko

Level 5

Limit Hold’em

Maksim Pisarenko raised on the button and was three-bet by Joao Vieira from the small blind. Pisarenko called.

Vieira bet on the 510Q flop and Pisarenko raised. Vieira called.

The Q fell on the turn and Vieira check-called a bet from Pisarenko.

Both players checked on the 8 river and Vieira revealed Q10 for a full house. Pisarenko said, "I'm surprised you have a full house there!" as he mucked.

Sion Not Yet Flush with Chips

Level 5

Seven Card Stud

Elior Sion: KQ/J586/3
Roman Yitzhaki: XxXx/K7JA/Xx

Elior Sion completed with the jack and was called by Roman Yitzhaki.

Sion bet on fourth street. Yitzhaki made the call.

Fifth street saw both players check to sixth street where Yitzhaki took over the betting lead. Sion responded with a raise, which Yitzhaki called.

Sion bet again on the river. Yitzhaki quickly called but unsurprisingly was unable to overcome Sion's king high flush to send the Brit some more chips as he continues to build his stack back up.

Sammartino and Volpe Trade Razz Pots

Level 5

Razz

Paul Volpe: XxXx / 7xQxAxKx folded on sixth street
Dario Sammartino: XxXx / 5x3x4x2x

Dario Sammartino: XxXx / 8x10x6x5x / Xx
Paul Volpe: XxXx / 9x10x5x8x / Xx

Sammartino then completed with an eight and Volpe called with a nine. Sammartino bet his advantage all the way to sixth street with Volpe coming along. On seventh, Sammartino slowed down and checked. Volpe bet and forced a reluctant fold.
