Pisarenko Bests Wells; Sternheimer Eliminated

Level 5

Pot-Limit Omaha

On a 872K board, Robert Wells check-called 11,500 from Maksim Pisarenko and the river was the 7.

Wells checked and Pisarenko bet 32,000. Wells called, but Pisarenko tabled 9874 for a full house and took down the pot.

Philip Sternheimer was previously sat at his table, but has recently been eliminated, with his chips seemingly split between Daniel Negreanu and John David Rogers.

Ivey and Urbanovich Chop up Some of Hollink's Chips

Level 5

No-Limit Hold'em

Dzmitry Urbanovich raised to 6,000 from the hijack and was called by Phil Ivey in the small blind and Rob Hollink in the big blind.

Everyone checked on the 5K2 flop and Ivey checked again on the 9 turn. Hollink bet 13,000 and Urbanovich rasied to 42,000.

Ivey called cold and Hollink let his hand go.

Both players checked after the 6 completed the board and Ivey tabled KQ. Urbanovich turned over KQ for the same hand and they chopped up the pot.

Diebold Eliminated by Urbanovich

Level 5
Ben Diebold
Ben Diebold

2-7 Triple Draw

A short-stacked Ben Diebold was all-in and at risk prior to the final draw and up against Dzmitry Urbanovich with the following cards exposed.

Ben Diebold: 7x6x5x3x All in
Dzmitry Urbanovich: 8x5x3x2x

Urbanovich hit the 4x and that left Diebold in very rough shape. He found no miracle escape as a Qx ended his run in the tournament.

Sion Doubles Through Lamb

Level 5

No-Limit Hold'em

Five players each checked the QJ2 flop and the turn was the 9. Elior Sion checked and Ben Lamb bet 12,500.

Ben Yu called and Roman Yitzhaki folded. Sion then check-raised all in for 79,500. Lamb moved all in and Yu folded.

Elior Sion: K10 All in
Ben Lamb: 108

Sion had turned the nut straight, with Lamb needing a king to chop. However, the river was the Q and former champion Sion doubled up.

Glaser Building Back

Level 5

Pot-Limit Omaha

Dan Cates limped in the small blind and Benny Glaser three-bet to 11,000 in the cutoff. The button and blinds folded to send the action back to Cates, who called.

Cates checked to Glaser on the 3JQ flop. The British mixed game specialist continued for 25,000. After some thought, Cates decided to get out of the way to send some much needed chips Glaser's way as he moves back up over the 100,000 mark.

Racener Forces Out Daher

Level 5

Action was heads-up on a AK684 board between Albert Daher and John Racener.

Daher appeared to have bet the pot, with Racener having a sizeable raise of 225,000 sat in front of him.

Daher deliberated, muttering "I have a very big fucking hand" to himself under his breath before folding.

"Show the bluff one fucking time," said Eric Wasserson, with Racener showing KK108 for top set, albeit with the king of hearts.

On the second draw, Eslami took one and Yitzhaki now patted. Eslami check-raised and Yitzhaki called.

Both patted the final draw and Eslami's bet was called. They both showed 8x6x5x3x2x and chopped it up.
