Robert Mizrachi opened to 4,500 from early position and was three-bet to 15,000 by Bryce Yockey on the button. Scott Seiver then shoved for his last 66,500 from the big blind. Mizrachi folded after a bit of thought and Yockey quickly called to put Seiver at risk.
Scott Seiver: A♣5♣
Bryce Yockey: A♦K♣
Seiver found himself dominated and in need of help, but the 9♦2♠6♠J♠Q♥ runout kept Yockey best with big-slick to eliminate Seiver.
Joao Vieira: A♦10♦7♦/J♦8♦K♦6♠
Dylan Linde: XxXx/6♣A♥5♠J♣/Xx
Philip Sternheimer: XxXx/9♠ - folded on third street
Joao Vieira completed and was called by Philip Sternheimer. Dylan Linde raised and Vieira made it three bets to go. Sternheimer got out of the way and Linde called.
Linde proceeded to call bets from Vieira on every street and Vieira turned over A♦10♦7♦ for the nut flush. Linde slid his hand into the muck and Vieira added to his stack.
Robert Mizrachi: XxXx / 2♠10♠4♠5♦ folded on sixth street
Nacho Barbero: A♥6♦4♣ / 8♦K♠K♦2♥
Matthew Ashton: A♠8♠3♣ / 2♣Q♠3♥5♠
Matthew Ashton bet fourth street and earned two calls before fifth street was checked. Nacho Barbero then bet sixth street with his pair of kings showing and Ashton raised to force out Robert Mizrachi, while Barbero called. Barbero check-called a bet on seventh and took the high pot with his pair of kings, while the eight-five of Ashton won the low.
Scott Seiver is the shortest stack on the table while Jared Bleznick leads the way.
The field has reached 62 entries and the latest trio to enter includes Hal Rotholz, Roy Thung and Ben Yu. So far, only one of the contenders has been eliminated.
Johannes Becker limped on the button and Elior Sion called in the small blind before Ben Lamb checked his option out of the big blind.
Sion checked the 6♠7♠2♦ flop. Lamb led out for 6,000, getting a call from Becker but a fold from Sion to send action heads-up to the turn.
Neither player put any more money into the pot on the J♣ turn but Lamb bet 20,000 after the river came 10♣. Becker did not immediately fold, though in the end he reached the decision to do so as Lamb, known for his skill in the Omaha variant, took down another pot.
Phillip Sternheimer: XxXx / A♣3♦8♦ — folded on fifth street
Maksim Pisarenko: XxXx / 9♣7♥6♥
Maksim Pisarenko completed with a nine after Daniel Negreanu brought in with a deuce. Phillip Sternheimer then raised and Pisarenko called.
Sternheimer bet again on fourth street and Pisarenko raised.
The raise was greeted with a puzzled look and furrowed brow from Sternheimer who called. He checked fifth street but folded to another bet from Pisarenko.
