Chino Rheem

2-7 Triple Draw

The field was pretty much vacated into the break already but one table was still running. Two bets had gone in after the second draw between Chino Rheem in the small blind, Roy Thung in the big blind and Saya Ono on the button.

On the final draw, Rheem was in the tank and then discarded one as did Thung. Once Ono also drew one, Rheem let out a loud "fuck" that everybody nearby heard. He checked and Thung bet, only Ono called as Rheem then flashed he had received an ace.

Ono ended up winning the pot with a 9x7x6x3x2x. Rheem confirmed that he had broken an eight and would have won the pot.

Lehr and Hollink Split Five-Way Pot

Level 7
Rob Hollink
Rob Hollink

Stud Hi-Lo

Hal Rotholz: XxXx / 5K10A --folded on sixth street
John Monnette: J54 / 3Q67
Keith Lehr: 108 / Q674 / 8
Talal Shakerchi: XxXx / 9Q29 / Xx
Rob Hollink: 624 / 7K3J

Five ways to fourth street, Hal Rotholz bet and earned four callers. He bet again fifth street with John Monnette, Keith Lehr, Talal Shakerchi and Rob Hollink coming along. Sixth street saw Shakerchi pair his nine and he bet, Hollink called and Rotholz folded. Monnette now raised and Lehr called, as did Shakerchi and Hollink.

Seventh street was checked to Monnette and his bet was called three ways. He announced a straight and showed the seven-high straight for a high and low hand combo. Lehr had the high hand beat with a flush and Shakerchi mucked, but Hollink showed the superior low (7-6-4-3-2)..

Monnette was visibly frustrated while Lehr then remarked "I already had it on sixth," to Rotholz.
