Chidwick Finishes Off Ausmus

Level 10 : 3,000/6,000, 0 ante
Stephen Chidwick
Stephen Chidwick

Stephen Chidwick open-jammed on the button for Jeremy Ausmus' remaining 70,000 chips. Ausmus then made the call to put his tournament life at risk.

Jeremy Ausmus: 108 All in
Stephen Chidwick: J3

The flop ran out 5QQ, and although the turn 2 gave Ausmus a flush draw, his outs were no good, as Chidwick had the diamonds dominated. So, with just six outs once, the 7 sealed Ausmus' fate, and he was eliminated from the tournament, as Chidwick's jack-high was good.

Chidwick will go on to play Artur Martiosian in Round 2 later today.

Matthew Wantman
Matthew Wantman

Matthew Wantman shoved on the button and Linglin Zeng mulled over her decision before eventually committing her last 100,000 into the middle.

Linglin Zeng: K10 All in
Matthew Wantman: A5

Wantman held the lead, and the A54 flop improved him to two pair and left Zeng drawing to runner-runner.

The 9 turn sealed the deal and an irrelevant Q completed the board — eliminating Zeng from contention.

A short while later, Mizumoto went on to finish off Heinzl and book the win to advance.

Darren Elias

Ignacio Moron wrapped up his heads-up match with Darren Elias when the chips went in preflop. Moron quickly recapped the hand to PokerNews.

Darren Elias: Ax6xAll in
Ignacio Moron: A7

Elias was dominated and had one out removed after Moron picked up a flush draw on the Kx82 flop. Moron found the 7 on the turn to leave Elias drawing dead before the river bricked off.

With 75,400 chips, Matthew Wantman open jammed all in on the button. After some debate, Linglin Zeng made the call, and put Wantman at risk.

Matthew Wantman A7 All in

Kevin Rabichow: J8

"Let it be known that I do not like it," Leonard said before the flop was dealt.

Brandon Brown limped on the button and Kane Kalas checked his option.

Kalas continued for 20,800 on the 3 turn and Brown again called.
